That's the way it goes right? The evidence comes first. Credentials, track record, external validation and THEN you get to believe. But we all know, that sequence has never produced anything worth remembering. The people who change the world do not wait for permission. They decide, and then the world catches up.
The biggest proof of your greatness is not what you have done. It is what you believed you could do when there was no reason to believe it at all.
Look at anyone who built something that did not exist before. The founder who quit a stable job with no customers and no product, just a conviction. The writer who spent two years on a manuscript nobody asked for. The athlete who trained like an Olympian before anyone had heard their name. In every case, the belief came first. The evidence was not there yet. That is the entire point.
The Wright brothers were bicycle mechanics telling people they would fly. No credentials in aeronautics. No funding. A belief that bordered on delusional, and that belief carried them through every failure until the delusion became a photograph in a newspaper.
Maybe I'm biased. For every person who believed and succeeded, there are thousands who believed and failed. Maybe I'm delusional. But here is what I have seen as a coach again and again: the people who succeeded all had to believe first. There is no path where the evidence arrives and then you decide to become great. You either chose before, or it never happens.
Greatness is not a result. It is a way of moving through the world before the results arrive. It is the decision to act as if the future you want is already real, because you understand that it's the only way it ever will be.
My job in PY is to show you your own greatness before you've seen any evidence of it. To give you the proof of what you already are.
