Du bist gut genug = “You are good enough” 🧏🏽‍♂️

Throwback to Pre- London marathon prep where myself Ayo Li Leon ‘Sweets’ Lewis and Samantha Joanne were invited as panelist to share Marathon and running wisdom at Miyako Fitness Pilates.

As an athlete, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, pro, or elite, more time than not, we all experience the same feelings and mood in lead up to a race or any competition. Apart from skill, what separates us all from reaching top levels is that mental capacity and ability to lock in for a prolong period of time. This stems from before, during and even after.

Stay tuned as I will drop a few gems I use to stay locked in with race day preparation… because ultimately, you are good enough to reach your goals and beyond.

Improving your running ability requires other forms of training… Strength training being one of the fundamentals 🔑

This session consisted of:

Warm Up -
Heel Walks, Walkout to Press Up, Squat to Calf Raise and Press Up to Diagonal Toe Tap

Main Session -
Single Leg Squat + Box Jump
KB Straight Leg Deadlift + Single Arm Bench Press
Single Arm Sn**ch + Bent Knee Calf Raise
Swiss Ball Plank + Copenhagen Plank
