Trials for London Welsh Women's Rugby are open, and honestly, the bar couldn’t be lower. Do you like dragons? Brilliant. You’re in. If not… don’t worry, we can convert you.

Join us on Wed evenings, meet the team, learn rugby from scratch, get rugby fit, and maybe earn an introduction to Dewi the Dragon on matchday. Our coaches teach everything step by step. No experience needed, no pressure, just grassroots rugby in a friendly club.

You’ll train at our iconic Old Deer Park ground, under the gaze of the Kew Gardens Pagoda.

Girls 15+ and women welcome. Dragon enthusiasts especially. Training every Wednesday night in Kew/Richmond.

Try Rugby at London Welsh Women

If you live near Kew and fancy trying something new, come give rugby a go at London Welsh.

We’re the other women's rugby club in the Richmond area - the one where we play for fun, build players from scratch, and welcome absolute beginners.

No experience needed. No Welsh heritage required. Just bring yourself.

Our coaches take you through everything from the basics, step by step. You’ll train at our beautiful clubhouse and iconic Old Deer Park ground, overlooked by the Kew Gardens Pagoda.

If you want fitness, confidence, new friends and a proper club atmosphere, come down and try a session.

London Welsh Women are back this Wednesday.

Pre‑season kicks off at 7:30pm at Pools on the Park, just by Richmond station.

We’re easing in gently…promise.

Coach V and Fin are ready to help you remember what a rugby ball looks like, shake off the summer rust, run a few fun drills and get everyone moving again.

Bring trainers, water, and your best “I forgot how to catch” energy.
