When we are stuck it’s usually because we don’t welcome or are frightened by change. However being stuck is uncomfortable. It can lead to frustration and often leads to pain. So what’s the alternative? It’s to be honest with yourself. Be honest about what has happened/is happening, what you’re feeling, what you’re thinking, what you want, don’t want and what you need. The first step is being honest with your therapist, your coach and or your journal. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You simply have to take the first step in the process of getting unstuck which is being honest, open and transparent with yourself.
