Mind Yoga and Pilates is a brand new boutique yoga studio in the heart of Forest Hill. We open on Monday 15th July with a full program of classes open to all.

We stand for the mental impacts of yoga above all, removing the stigma from yoga and fitness.

It’s that time of year where we get bright sunlight through the back window during morning classes and bright sunlight through the back window during evening classes ☀️

When we decided to take on this little unit, we had no idea how perfectly placed it would be to get sunlight for most of the day. We are one of the only spots on the high street that has unobstructed light given that there are no buildings directly opposite us. The universe knew this was our spot before we did.

This Saturday, the wonderful is hosting two pay what you can Barre classes to raise money for displaced families in Lebanon as a result of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. This is in collaboration with a lovely member of our community who wishes to help friends and family affected by the war.

We can’t control what happens in the world, but we can do our bit to bring joy to our communities and help in our own small way. Please consider booking in for one of these sessions to support the cause! You can donate ahead of time on the ‘Go Fund Me link’ in our bio, or donate on the day.

February at Mind ✨

A quick and busy month for our community, but a beautiful one nonetheless. Thank you to the wonderful participants of ‘Progressions’ and ‘Yoga for Beginners’ along with our book club attendees. Thank you also to those that continue to practice with us whether it’s once a day, or once a month - we see you and we are so glad that you choose to practice with us ❤️

The Bloom Series launched over the weekend, and we thought you may like to hear a little more about this collection of workshops 🌼

- ‘In her Rhythm’: An International Women’s Day brunch in which we will learn about living by your cycle. This is a cosy seated event.

- ‘Unfurl’: our trademark equinox Yin and sound extended practice followed by herbal tea and journalling.

- ‘Paint and Petals’: A social one for the girlies. A floral focussed evening of painting with Prosecco, soft lighting and a killer playlist.

Match is Women’s History Month as well as a shift into the season of Spring. We therefore wanted to create a nourishing series of female focused offerings to help you connect with yourself as we harness to expansive energy of spring ✨🌷

Your February read ✨

Given that our next book club meet up is at the very start of women’s history month - we thought we would offer a series of female focussed non fiction books. Our community chose ‘want’ by Gillian Anderson, a book about female desire.

We have also started a reading group on ‘Fable’ a reading app to keep us all connected and chatting about the book between meet ups! If you book a spot, the link to join our fable channel is in the confirmation email 🎉

January at Mind ✨

This has felt like the longest month, and yet we only took a handful of pictures - probably in light of this being the busiest month we’ve ever had!

There has been a lot of rain, and gloomy mornings this January, but our community has been here rain or shine, showing up for themselves. A huge welcome if you are new to our space. We have been lucky to welcome more than 100 new people to the studio in the last few weeks, and we are thrilled that you have found us.

We hope very much that you have enjoyed your start to the year with Mind as part of your routine, and we will see you on the mat in February!

Lighter days are just around the corner folks ☀️
