The Southport Air Show returns to the Southport Seafront on Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30, 2026. This annual event is the largest of its kind in the North West and is famous for its unique beach landing strip and flight displays over the sand.

Dates: August 29–30, 2026.
Opening Times: Public gates typically open at 10:00 am and close around 6:00 pm, with flying displays usually scheduled between midday and 5:00 pm.
Location: Southport Beach/Seafront (Sat Nav: PR8 1RY).
Tickets: Under 16s are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Adult tickets for previous years were priced around £12; check the official Visit Southport ticket portal for 2026 booking.

✈️ What to Expect
The 2026 lineup is still being finalized, but confirmed and typical participants include:
Military Displays: The RAF Tutor T1 is confirmed for both days. The RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team and the RAF Typhoon are regular highlights.
Warbirds & Civilians: Past shows have featured the Lancaster, Hurricane, and Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, as well as the Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers and Team Raven.
Ground Entertainment: Includes a military village with interactive exhibits, jet simulators, climbing walls, and a trade village
