Hello,

I am Bernd. Thought it might be a good time to reintroduce myself.

After representing a global brand for 25 years in salons, in education and on stage it was time for a change of pace. Living and working around the world has been a true gift. A gift that keeps on giving until today when creating great hair.

I have been self employed since 2017. Naturally I enjoy the freedom this gives me; I have time for others and my own interests. I am very fortunate to have enjoyed extensive training and have years of experience in both colouring and cutting hair. I specialised in cutting first and then in colour when I moved from Germany to London in 1997. Hence I can focus on creating bespoke hair for my fabulous clients in the beautiful inspiring environment that is BOND SHOREDITCH.

My main goal is to work with my client’s individuality and personal style. That means I love ALL hair textures; I will encourage and assist you to fully embrace your natural texture and colour.

I exclusively use earth friendly sustainable products and colour. Hair colour by YUV, hair care by OWAY.

I charge for my time rather than individual services. This also means my pricing is gender neutral.

I really do not need to give my colour work a name other than great hair colour that suits my clients. Do I understand following trends and use terminology can help? Yes, but I prefer to stay well clear. This entire ‘new’ ‘grey blending’ technique is nothing new at all. Us vintage hair colourists have been doing this forever. It’s called considering suitability and creating personalised hair colour. Love using to create optimum custom blended hair colour.
