Unintentionally got leaner 🤨

Quite happy with this look to be fair - might keep the ball rolling in and be in a good spot to push weight back up slowly again in a few weeks time.

Huge transformation for my bro .ron

From being just above 105kg to stripping a few kilos off and sitting just shy of 97kg. Ron’s strength still there and lifting close to his lifts at peak body weight.

More athletic, much leaner and healthier 🤝🏽😎

Fullness is starting to make a return after a week off.

Finally good to start feeling stronger and fuller again after a reload. Very much needed - more refreshed these sessions.

Have stripped the weights back a tad and slowly focused on getting form on point this next coming push phase.

Time to keep the ball rolling 🤝🏽

Current look after a whole week off. No training, no real structure to food.

Now back to work. Let’s see how much more progress we can make. Not very content or happy with where physique is at right now but only up to me to fix that innit 🤝🏽

TRAINING EFFECTIVELY

Many people especially newer gym goers, tend to think that more training = more progress. This is definitely a subjective statement and let me tell you why.

If you are someone who is training 6 days a week, sleeping 5-6 hours a night, fatigued for most of the day.. then what makes you think continuing to run yourself to the ground is productive?

On the other side of the spectrum, if you are training 2 days a week, still got much more energy and time to spare, sleeping well.. then why are you not pushing more?

Finding the middle ground where training and physique is progressing at a steady rate, you are sleeping well and not super fatigued throughout the week is the best spot to be in.

But again, this varies from person to person on how much training volume they can recover from. Majority of new gym goers will be nowhere near “over training” but it’s also good to have a knowledge of where your threshold is.

Sometimes you need to remind yourself of what you’re CAPABLE of.

Competing for the first time, to then tearing my pec and losing my physique was rough. But to be honest it never actually killed my mindset, in fact I saw it as a challenge and said “cool, let’s get it back but better”. So I decided to finally train legs almost every 2nd day wearing a sling.

My motivation was at its highest when I was at the lowest point of my physique. All it takes is good mindset to get in the swing of things.

Transformation Thursday

Gary was someone who was active and played 5 a side games quite often! He struggled a lot with how to handle food.

We first fixed this by ensuring he ate frequently in smaller meals to ensure he was never super hungry at any time of the day.

Secondly I taught Gary there was no such thing as bad food. He was able to socialize from time to time with friends and enjoy dinners during this fat loss process.

Thirdly, he was VERY hard working and pushed his limits in the gym. Gary loved a challenge. He was always looking to progress and asked what’s next and how can we make it more difficult 😂 in other words he was crazy like most of the people on my team🫡

One of the best transformations we have up to date.

Ryan and I have been working together for a few years. Started off with me to just put on some size, get lean for summer and look good. Now we have formed a good friendship along with good coaching relationship 🤝🏽

One day he decided to try stepping in stage and we actually brought a package we were pretty proud of! We knew there was more in the tank for him but that was just the first competition to get a taste for what a comp prep is like.

Excited to keep progressing with this dude and seeing where we can bring his physique going forward 🤝🏽
