💪💪What a way to start Sunday morning! 💪💪

Huge shoutout to the one and only Tom James for putting the U13s through their paces today. Safe to say he had the boys sweating, but it was massive to see every single one of them putting in 110% effort. The hard work starts now! 💪🔥
We’ve got two more sessions locked in with Tom before the season officially kicks off, so let’s keep this energy going.

What a night to wrap up the 2025/26 season! 🏉

Friday’s presentation was the perfect way to celebrate our U12s. 🖤

We were incredibly lucky to have a "clash of generations" with guest speakers: the legendary Brian Rackham (our club’s oldest member) and Wales U18s star George Thomas, who shared some inspiring words and handed out the hardware. 🏆

🍻The Great Boat Race Debate

It wouldn't be an end-of-season bash without the annual Boat Race! We upped the stakes this year with Kids vs. Parents. While the parents are claiming a tactical victory, the kids are calling a foul... we’ll let you decide who actually won that one! 🤣🍻

💪 Resilience & Spirit

It’s been a tough shift on the pitch this year. Moving into a new bracket meant facing unfamiliar teams and taking a few more "character-building" losses than we’d like.

But honestly? We couldn't be prouder. The boys showed massive resilience, kept their heads up, and most importantly, stuck together as a pack. That team spirit is worth more than any scoreboard!

Huge well done to the boys from the team who finished off the season tonight with a cracking friendly for Rhondda Schools! High energy, great spirits, and a proper way to end the year.

A massive shout-out to Mickey Thomas as well. Even with his hand in a cast and being stuck on the sidelines, he was right there cheering the lads on. That’s what you call a team player!

MATCH DAY RECAP: A Battle in the Sun! 🏉

The boys faced Ystrad on Penrhys Park this morning, and as expected, it was a physical shift from start to finish! It was a proper neck-and-neck nail-biter, but our lads showed exactly what they’re made of.

A massive thank you to Ava for coming along today. She captured some absolutely cracking photos of the action—if you need match day shots, she is highly recommended!

🏃‍♂️ The Highlights

It was a tight contest, but some moments of brilliance tipped the scale.

The first try for the boys came from relentless pressure on the Ystrad line and a clinical charge down by Cade Phillips securing the try.

The second was a textbook team effort—slick hands across the back line to find Cade, who secured it beautifully in the corner!

Lewis Carter stepped up to knock through a crucial conversion resulting in the win!

Final Score: 12-10 to Tylorstown! 🖤💛

⭐ Man of the Match

While the scoreboard is great, the attitude was even better. Because of the incredible heart and shift put in by every single player, the whole team was awarded Man of the Match this week!

🏆 Parents vs. Kids: The Rematch! 🏆

We decided to shake things up for tonight’s session and bring back the undisputed favorite: The Parents vs. Kids Showdown. 💛

In what is becoming a bit of a "tradition," the Parents took the win... again! We’d love to say it was a close-run thing, but let’s be honest: for anyone who knows our group of parents, there was zero chance they were going to let the U12s take the glory. Competitiveness runs deep in this club! 🤣

A massive shoutout to the kids, though. They played with heart and were incredibly gracious in defeat!
