But they would not return to Englands elite until 2001 with the help of money from Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed -which helped the club get out of a possible liquidation. the most recent trophy then won was the Football League First Divison (now the Championship) in 2001 and the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2002, they have rarely tasted success but with their team getting stronger Fulham could be a strong team in the future.
