Join me for a psychophysical warm up to get you tuned into your body and your impulse. Then explore a couple of principle exercises to give you clear pathways to creating without letting your ego-brain or your inner critic take charge.

Level 2 starts in one week.

This series builds on Level 1 principles and stretches the actor into the Shadow parts of self to create some incredible characters that you never thought you could play.

This is the work you need to be physically and emotionally ready and resilient for your work in production. Come, stretch, dive deep, surprise yourself.

Repeat these early series as much as you like to deepen your connections, strengthen your elasticity, stretch your creative scope, develop your ability to recalibrate and reground yourself after the demands of a tough day at work.

What a delight to announce I have two Intro to Lucid Body sessions coming up at The New Actors Centre.

The reinvention of this London theatre institution is vital to keeping the heart of the acting community beating. Support them. Become a member. Take classes. Take my class. Meet your community. Expand, develop, try, fail, laugh, cry, go home tired-happy.

Join me on 14 May and/or 4 June (material will repeat) to dip your toes into Lucid Body: a psychophysical acting process.

Do you miss that feeling of being in your body? Have you done some Lucid Body in the past and you want to dive back in to challenge yourself some more?

Level 2 starts in a couple of weeks. Four Monday nights to work on Archetypes, Shadow, Conflict, Tactics, Layering, Physical Listening. Four Mondays to stretch your acting muscles and push yourself to try new things.

Former drama school students of mine, those who’ve completed Level One or more, grab a spot in this great series of sessions.
