My kind of game is βbeing in the gameβ.
Most of us can experience laziness after a long holiday, a bad experience, a weekend of not eating healthy, and the list goes on, and for sure the last place we would think of going to is the gym. It is arduous and it takes heart and soul to get the engine started for such purpose, besides we gave it our all to look our best on that amazing holiday we just had.
βBeing in the gameβ is never about going to the gym really, itβs about being active while enjoying what we love the most.
Letβs get one thing straight after a holiday not most people come glowing and full of energy, hence the need to relax through those activities that re-energise us, and then take action to ourselves to the gym.
I have experienced myself and seen it through my clients, peers, and friends. Having said that the most effective ways to stick around to your exercise routine are.
1. Be part of a community of like-minded people that push and rely on each other.
2. Use holidays as a reminder to push harder but donβt see it as the final destination.
3. Remind yourself that your goal is to make fitness an enjoyable lifestyle that you will always be part of.
Anyway I hope those tips help you move from any sticky points in time.
