Temporarily came out of retirement...
.. for a good cause.

This weekend, I teamed up with the Phoenix team to help one of the biggest fights a person could ever face. The Phoenix Martial Arts Charity fund raiser for the Royal Marsden.

I did not hesitate to take a few hours out of a hectic Sunday to support the event. Putting the gloves back on to spar with a range of students, of which some were nervous and went out of their comfort zone to others who have developed into competition fighters who thought they'd have some fun with the retired veteran world champion 😎 Glad to say I turned up, fought hard, had lots of fun and was very happy to catch up with some friends that were there training with me when I first walked into a martial arts gym, 23 years ago.

Thank you so much to Elisa who invited me over. I know this means so much to you.
