COVID-19 UPDATE
At J2FIT we’re actively monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and we are taking additional precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of all our members, guests, visitors and staff – this is our number one priority.
We’re committed to providing everyone who uses our club with a safe and hygienic space to train and are taking this situation extremely seriously. All members of the J2FIT team have been briefed on what actions they need to take, as per Government guidance, to reduce the risk of the virus spreading.
You can find out about the actions we are taking to keep our members safe, how we are responding to COVID-19 and how our members can keep themselves and others safe below.
What are we doing to keep members and staff safe?
Our cleaning teams operate throughout the day, cleaning and disinfecting the changing facilities, showers, flooring and equipment with a focus on all areas that come into contact with skin.
The cleaning products used are hospital standard.
All studio spaces and equipment are being cleaned and disinfected before peak times.
Alongside our antibacterial wipes we're adding hand sanitiser into the club.
We have added additional signage to create more awareness for members and reminding everyone to wash their hands.
All personal trainers and J2FIT team members have been advised on what to do when returning from abroad in line with advice from the Government.
Following recommendations and guidelines from Public Health Wales, the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the NHS.
What can you do as a member to help?
Wash your hands frequently, for 20 seconds with soap and water.
Wipe down equipment before and after use with the biodegradable antibacterial wipes that are provided on the gym floor and studios.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing and sneezing and dispose of the tissue in the bin after use (wash those hands straight away too).
If you are suffering from any of the symptoms, no matter how mild, please consider staying at home to recover. If you have any concerns, we recommend using the NHS 111 service.
If you are a returning traveller, please follow the Government guidance.
Currently there are no reported cases of a member, visitor, guest or staff member testing positive for Coronvirus (COVID-19).
Our club is open and classes are running as normal. If anyone who has been into the club does test positive for the virus we will temporarily close the club for a deep clean. It will then reopen once this has been completed.
If you have tested positively for Coronavirus (COVID-19) and have used the gym recently please contact member services via email, [email protected]
