TypoCircle is turning 50 years old!

We are celebrating this golden milestone with a limited-edition series of fifty posters and half-century identity by Studio DRAMA

Join us on 1st October, in London, for the TypoCircle 50th Anniversary celebration (ticket link in bio), kindly hosted by the Ministry. Guests will have the first opportunity to view and purchase our limited-edition posters, designed by some of the biggest names from around the world including: Paula Scher, Margaret Calvert, Alan Kitching, Matt Willey, and 46 more, including some of our wonderful TypoCircle community. Join us in raising funds for our next 50 years as well as raising a glass together for the community that has been part of our past 50.

Commemorating the occasion, we will also reveal a new half-century identity, crafted by Studio DRAMA, drawing upon TypoCircle’s recognisable black dot motif.

We called upon our community of leading creatives to follow a simple, structured brief to create a bespoke number 5 to sit alongside our iconic black dot motif. All posters are printed in a limited edition of 50.

Don’t worry if you can’t make the London event, as any remaining posers will be for sale online after the event, and will be available to purchase until October 30th when the anniversary sale will end. All posters will be shipped once the sale has closed.

Our speaker Fred North, Creative Director, forms part of the leadership team in Berlin and is responsible for everything visual that comes out of the studio. He’s been in the industry for a total of fourteen years. Fred’s worked with Koto clients such as Airbnb, Backmarket, Yazio, Spotify, Uber, Zalando and Coca Cola. Before joining Koto, Fred worked at DesignStudio with clients that included Premier League, Champions League, and Deliveroo.
