Neil Grove made his MMA debut at UKMMAC 17: Iron Circle on November 16, 2006, beating Anthony Okorie by TKO. He next fought at UKMMAC 18: Fists of Fury against Denniston Sutherland, who was 30 kg lighter than Grove at the time. On July 14, 2007, Grove made his Cage Rage debut at Cage Rage 22: Hard as Hell, stepping in on two days notice to fight PRIDE veteran James Thompson. Grove knocked out the

heavily favored Thompson in just 10 seconds of the first round. Grove followed up with two more stoppages in Cage Rage before facing former Cage Rage heavyweight champion Rob Broughton. Grove lost the bout by majority decision. Grove fought in a re-match against Robert Berry at Cage Rage 27: Step Up on July 12, 2008. He won via TKO in the second round. On December 7, 2008, he fought James McSweeny for the Ultimate Challenge UK Heavy Weight Title, MMA: Bad Breed. On December 16, 2008, Grove announced that he was signing a four fight deal with the UFC. Grove expressed interest in fighting Al-Turk, who has also signed with the UFC.[1]
He lost his first and only UFC fight at UFC 95, being defeated by IFL veteran Mike Ciesnolevicz in the first round. Grove broke 3 ribs stopping a takedown attempt by Mike and succumbed to a heel hook eventually. Grove was released from his UFC contract in May. Afterwards he returned to Ultimate Challenge UK at the The Troxy in London, he defeated Martin Thompson to retain his UCUK Heavyweight title. He then fought to a draw with Stav Economou at Ultimate Challenge MMA - Never Back Down. Grove made his Bellator and US debut against Eddie Sanchez, winning via TKO (Punches) at 1:32 of round 1. He next faced Alexey Oleinik at Bellator 29. He won via TKO at 0:45 in the first round, earning a spot in the finals of the Bellator Heavyweight Tournament, against Cole Konrad, an NCAA wrestling champion in 2006 and 2007.

Love this: An Airbus 380 is on its way across the Atlantic. It flies consistently at 800 km/h at 30,000 feet, when suddenly a Eurofighter with a Tempo Mach 2 appears.
The pilot of the fighter jet slows down, flies alongside the Airbus and greets the pilot of the passenger plane by radio: “Airbus, boring flight isn’t it? Now have a look here!”
He rolls his jet on its back, accelerates, breaks through the sound barrier, rises rapidly to a dizzying height, and then swoops down almost to sea level in a breathtaking dive. He loops back next to the Airbus and asks: “Well, how was that?”
The Airbus pilot answers: “Very impressive, but watch this!”
The jet pilot watches the Airbus, but nothing happens. It continues to fly straight, at the same speed. After 15 minutes, the Airbus pilot radios, “Well, how was that?
Confused, the jet pilot asks, “What did you do?”
The AirBus pilot laughs and says: “I got up, stretched my legs, walked to the back of the aircraft to use the washroom, then got a cup of coffee and a chocolate fudge pastry.”
The moral of the story is: When you’re young, speed and adrenaline seems to be great. But as you get older and wiser, you learn that comfort and peace are more important.
This is called S.O.S.: Slower, Older and Smarter.

I’m looking for an acro partner/ flyer…

I’ve been fortunate enough in life, to have found this amazing activity and would like to persue/ continue with it…
There’s a few seminars/ weekend training events coming up in the summer I’d like to attend and I would like my flyer to attend too…

It would help if you have a dance, yoga, Pilates or gymnastics background or you’re just freakishly strong. (Core strength is essential!)

No height issues but must be less than 12 st/ 75kg due to some injuries I’m nursing…

I’m happy to drive to you as long as it’s no more than an hour from Billericay in Essex.
