I am a South London based Yoga teacher. I practice Yoga to maintain my general wellbeing and to create balance, presence and a healthy functioning mind and body. I hope to offer this to those who practice with me and I try to incorporate my background and experience in alternative healing, massage, and anthropology in to my classes as well. I am a fully qualified 200 hours RYS Yoga teacher, having
trained with the international Sivananda Yoga Vedanta centre in Kerala, India in 2008. I have been teaching Yoga in South West London for the past 6 years in venues such as Fitness first in Streatham, Balham leisure centre and Training points in Crystal Palace. I have also taught classes at the Bedford pub in Balham and Papa's Park community centre in Brixton as well as private groups, Yoga in the work place and 1-2-1s. I offer Hatha Yoga and a multi-style approach to my classes, including pranayama, relaxation, some partner poses, group work and guided meditations. My classes have a relaxed atmosphere with soothing music and are definitely non-competitive. I aim to tailor classes to the needs of the individual and encourage people to mindfully challenge themselves at their own pace. I teach group classes, 1-2-1's and corporate Yoga in the work place. All levels and abilities are welcome.
