Traveling can completely throw us out of sync. For the female body, it takes even longer for hormones to bounce back.

After 10 days of traveling through 3 countries, my go-to remedy is a grounding yin practice that stimulates vagal tone - the activity or cranial nerve.

Happy Women’s Day🌸🌼🌺 Everyday!!

What is Female Empowerment?

For me, female empowerment is about awakening the feminine qualities within each of us — regardless of gender.

According to Ta**ra philosophy, we all carry both feminine (Shakti) and masculine (Shiva) energies. The key is to learn how to balance and navigate them. The yogic path teaches us how to become more conscious in our daily choices, while Ta**ra invites us to embody both energies fully.

By combining the two, we can awaken Maha Shakti - the divine feminine cosmic energy, the force that creates, transforms, and moves the world. This energy is often represented by goddesses like Durga, Kali, and Parvati, each reflecting different qualities of Shakti.

The Three Faces of Shakti
1. Durga - The Warrior Protector
Fierce yet motherly, she symbolizes strength, courage, and justice. Durga protects what is sacred and defeats darkness, reminding us of the balance between power and compassion.
2. Kali - The Fierce Transformer
Raw, wild, and intense, Kali represents death, transformation, and liberation. She destroys illusion and ego, clearing the path for new beginnings — a reminder that true power lies in surrender.
3. Parvati - The Loving Mother
Gentle, nurturing, and devoted, Parvati embodies love, fertility, and balance. She reminds us that softness is strength and devotion can lead to transformation.

Shakti in Everyday Life

We can invite Shakti into our lives by embracing both our inner warrior and our gentle heart, allowing transformation to flow while staying rooted in love.

A Moment to Pause…

Never underestimate the power of stillness and intentional breathing.

A pivotal moment in my yoga journey was realizing that we don’t practice yoga to become better at yoga. Yoga was designed as a complete system to help us become better in life—to support our health, well-being, and overall presence.

Did you know that you can slow down your mind simply by shaping your breath in a particular way?

Try this:
• Sit up tall, relax your arms, and bring your elbows slightly in toward your waist.
• Roll your shoulders down and take a deep breath in through your nose.

Now, follow this breath pattern:
1. Inhale for 4 counts, exhale for 4.
2. Inhale for 4, then slow down your exhale to 5 counts.
3. Inhale for 4, exhale for 6.
4. Inhale for 4, exhale for 7.
5. Finally, inhale for 4 and double your exhale to 8 counts.

Repeat the final 4:8 ratio four more times.

Inner peace…

As the holiday season approaches, it’s worth pausing to ask:

What aspect of freedom is more important to you?
The freedom to have everything you desire?
Or…
Feeling liberated from those desires?

It’s a tricky question, especially this time of year when we’re often caught up in chasing more. But have you ever paused to ask yourself: What do I truly need to feel at peace?

Sometimes, we think that having “everything” will bring us happiness, only to discover there’s always more to want. I’ve been reflecting on this while observing how some Balinese families, with so little compared to many of us Bali expats, seem to hold so much more inner peace.

So, as the holiday rush sweeps in, I invite you to ask yourself: What do I truly wish for this Christmas?
• Is it more things/ experiences?
• Or is it the feeling that life is unfolding exactly how it should be?
When you align your desires with a sense of peace, everything shifts. Freedom isn’t always about what we can get; sometimes, it’s about the quiet joy of knowing we’re exactly where we need to be.

This holiday season, I wish you that kind of peace—the kind that’s priceless. May your desires come from a place of calm, clarity, and abundance, and may you feel at home in your life, exactly as it is. 🪷✌️

Each season of life invites us to ask: What do I desire now? What feels aligned today? What’s my next step?

It’s been a while…
Let me re-introduce myself. Natalia Zawada - the founder of Starseeds.eco
It might surprise you to see a new account here, but it’s still the same person and spirit behind it. I decided to give it a new life- as my life went through a massive transition. From now on I am dedicating this space to my true passions: yoga, creative encouragement, personal developement and mindfulness.
