I love it when people who walk in the room who have never sung harmony can learn to do this in such a short amount of time. I know it’s not perfect but it’s authentic and fun - and makes my students feel so good because they thought it would be much harder than it is.
Being in the group helps because you have your partner singing the same part - and it just feels great singing in a group of people!

This Saturday 22nd of August 2-5pm in Camden - I have another singing workshop!

This is what B has to say about it!

This workshop is for beginner to intermediate singers. We will be running through fundamental breathing exercise exercises, warmups and techniques including riffs and runs. Then we will do some harmony training exercises and sing some songs in harmony.

Then there will be time for some of you to sing for me to get some personal feedback on your voice.

On Saturday, 22 August from 2 till 5 pm I’ll run a really fun, informative and practical class - teaching you the fundamentals of singing and also harmonising - singing with others!

If you would like to sing a solo for me and get feedback then it’s £50 for the workshop including the feedback.
If you don’t want to sing solo and observe and learn in that time, then it’s £35.

A little throwback to November last year with my amazing London singing group. We had 12 singers plus myself on stage and a four piece professional band.
It was truly amazing. 🤩
That’s Janet and Lance on lead vocals on these songs! 🌟

Just so many thanks to our musicians and my singers for being so great to work with - and The Pheasantry for hosting us! I hope we can do it again sometime!

In the meantime, the London Singing Group and I have a mini lunchtime concert on the 6th of September at 1:30pm at Toulouse Lautrec in Kennington - Brazilian music themed - and a picnic after for everyone to join us in a community and singing get together! Link in bio to for more info! 🎶

Movement class. Trying to get the music and the vibe into the body! Even if you’re standing still or sitting down, to be a good singer, you need to internalise the music and understand the rhythm. Your audience can feel of the music is in your body or not!!
This is one way of getting the music into your body! 💃
