Optimum FA 5 - 4 NYSC AKURE SOUTH

From yesterday’s heartbreak to today’s fightback.

After a painful loss in the TOPHIVE JUVENILE SUMMER TOURNEY, the boys answered the right way.
9 goals. End-to-end action. Nerves. Character. And in the end, a win.

Conceding late yesterday taught us a lesson. Today we showed we learned it. We dug deep, we responded, and we took the 3 points in spirit.

This is Optimum FA. We don’t stay down.
Pain yesterday. Purpose today. Progress tomorrow.

Big respect to NYSC AKURE SOUTH for a proper battle.

Optimum Throwback(MARCH 17, 2023)

The Journey of Optimum Football Consultancy: A Story Written in Sweat, Faith, and Unbroken Dreams

The road from 2021 to now wasn't paved.
There were tournaments where they were underestimated. Competition where we lost terribly. Scouting events where they were overlooked because they are too young. Seasons where funding was Low, Media Kick Start operations with a small Tecno Phone and the only thing keeping us going was belief.

Fast forward to today, these boys, the same ones nurtured since 2021, the ones who arrived with nothing but potential are now part of history that secured record breaking promotion from NLO 2 to NLO 1 in 2025, first team to achieve this in Ondo state.
Think about what this means for a 17-year-old who joined Optimum at 12. For five years, this consultancy was his world. His classroom. His family. And now, he stands on the threshold of professional football, carrying not just his dream, but the dream of every kid still waiting on that dusty pitch.

We gave everything, but came up short. Football can be cruel sometimes.

But today, we rise, in a Friendly Match against NYSC AKURE SOUTH. This is not just a game. It’s a response.
A chance to reset, to refocus, and to remind ourselves who we are.

To the boys: Carry the lessons from yesterday. Leave the pain on the pitch, and play with heart today.
