His mindset is very much the same as mine, which is why I'm reposting.

Excellent advice for everyone! How we should treat each other, whether in sport or in jobs or politics or elsewhere.

Being competitive doesn't mean dimming other people's light and pulling them down, but rather raising them up, wanting them to be the best they can be, fulfilling their potential and dreams.

And above all, focus on yourself, your ambitions, dreams, goals and being the best you can be. You won't be your best self and achieve what you want for yourself if you get into a negative mindset as you criticise others, wasting and draining your efforts and time trying to bring them down, instead of concentrating on your own journey and being kind to others on their journey.

Rybakina is rather overshadowed by unwarranted negative coverage which distracts off what an incredible player she is. Despite holding her back earlier this year by depriving her of her coach wrongly and unnecessarily, she's shown such mental and physical strength to peak at the end of the year, both before this tournament and now winning it. Rybakina is the best of the best! 💪🏆 I hope she has a well deserved break now. We look forward to all your off-season photos, Elena!
