If you’ve ever had that thought or it’s on your mind right now then the question I want to ask is… Why?
What are your reasons for this?
Is it something your family has said?
Your friends?
Partner?
Work?
Or just in your own mind?
Is it a case that you feel you should be at a certain place in your life?
Or could it be that you’re fearful of trying something new and unfamiliar?
For me, a lot of what held me back was my OWN mind! My OWN fears! My OWN self doubt!
Today marks 6 years since I graduated. 6 years! Like where did that time even go! I’m 28 now, approaching 30 pretty fast!
I went to university, with the aim to go for a specific job in social care. I think I realised pretty early on that I didn’t think I was cut out for it. But I stayed… mainly cause I was scared and didn’t want the hassle of ‘finding something new’.
A lot of people go to university or college learning something new. I did. Yes there was probably something that led to you going for that particular course like a similar course at school but ultimately, you were learning something new as a degree gives you advanced knowledge and information on a particular area.
You study for 2-3 years, if you went for degrees such as medicine then even longer…
So if you are really yearning for that change, to your life, why wouldn’t you spend the same amount of time again, learning something new?
Why wouldn’t you when the result can be the freedom to spend your time on doing things important to you, being able to work from where you want to and eventually with consistent work, not having to worry about money like you may be doing now!
I don’t know about you guys but I personally don’t want to be working until I’m in my 70’s. There’s so much of life that I want to experience and so much of the world I want to see!
If I have to work hard for 2-3 years to gain time and freedom to make my own choices with what I do with my life later on… then that’s what I am going to do!
Comment with a 🔥 if you feel the same and ready to make a change!
