Only Morgan Rogers has created more chances than Marcus Rashford in the Premier League so far.

🔴 Rashford — 7 chances created

And here's the crazy part: Rashford has made just ONE start. 😳

Four of those chances came against Hull after he was introduced at half-time, before he continued creating openings against Ipswich.

My opinion: These numbers are a very encouraging sign. Rashford looks more purposeful, involved and dangerous—and if he keeps building momentum, United could have a serious attacking weapon on their hands. 💪🔴

Against Hull, United struggled when the game became physical and the midfield lost control.

Against Ipswich, the team eventually found the right balance between:

🛡️ Defensive protection
🎯 Midfield control
⚡ Quick transitions
🔥 Attacking movement

That's why the second half looked so much better.

My opinion: United don't need to play perfect football—they need to find the right balance more consistently.

🚨 MAINOO CHANGED THE GAME. AND CARRICK HAS A BIG DECISION TO MAKE.

If you watched Manchester United 5–2 Ipswich, one thing stood out immediately: United looked far more comfortable playing through the middle.

Kobbie Mainoo gave the midfield something we missed against Hull — composure under pressure, progressive carries, and the ability to break lines.

That freedom also helped Youri Tielemans control the game, while Matheus Cunha found more space to connect with Bruno and the attackers.

And the result? 5–2. Bruno hat-trick + assist.

My opinion: Mainoo didn't just have a good game — he gave Michael Carrick a serious selection headache.

Now imagine Mainoo + Carlos Baleba together in that midfield...

His pace stretched the defensive line.

His willingness to run behind gave United another dimension.

That's important because Rashford doesn't always need to be the player finishing the move to be valuable. ⚡

My opinion: A focused and confident Rashford could become a huge weapon for Carrick this season.

That's one lesson United should take from Hull.

Against Ipswich, the possession was far more purposeful.

United moved the ball quicker, attacked spaces and created better situations around the box instead of simply circulating possession. 👀

My opinion: Carrick needs to make United's possession more aggressive—not just higher.

Win the ball → move it quickly → attack the space.

Bruno's first goal was a perfect example of how quickly United can punish an opponent when the transition is executed properly. 🔥

United went into half-time at 1–1, but the second half looked like a completely different team.

The intensity increased, midfielders became more aggressive with their positioning and United started attacking spaces much faster.

That tactical shift helped turn a difficult game into a 5–2 victory. 🔥

My opinion: Carrick showed he can actually change a game from the touchline.

Rashford — Cunha — Mbeumo.

The interesting part wasn't just the goals. It was the movement.

Cunha could drift, Rashford attacked space and Mbeumo gave United another direct threat from wide areas. That movement created gaps for Bruno to exploit. 👀

My opinion: There's something worth building here.
