Despite unfortunate circumstances, we are delighted to welcome the Women’s Bouldering Festival to Rise this September.

Advanced Setting Workshops Fri-Sat 11/12 Sep 🛠️
Setter Showdown Sat 12 Sep 🥳
Beginner Setting Workshop Sun 13 Sep 🛠️

The team is holding 3 days of setting workshops at the gym on 11th-13th September! Friday and Saturday 11th and 12th September are Advanced workshops for women working in the industry, and Sunday the 13th is a taster for beginners who are interested in the process.

We are doing a Rise twist on Saturday evening with a classic Setter Showdown format to get you the customer to climb and really engage with the blocs from the workshop! You will judge grading, moves, aesthetics and lots more. Then we will have a talk from the workshop leaders Jacky and Nat along with Marie Ury.

This has all come together quite quickly, and we are really excited to support it and put it on, so please get involved and more details will be coming soon!

Important announcement!

This Saturday, 22nd August, we are closed from 2pm for Jeremy's wedding.

Downstairs climbing will be closing a little earlier at 1:30pm so we can start hoovering!

If you want to climb on Saturday please get your climb in early. Sorry for any inconvenience caused 🙏
