was started primarily due to the lack of 11-a-side football opportunities within the community, this coincided with the figures released by the FA on how underrepresented the Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic (BAME) community was in football. We are looking to become the first ALL-INCLUSIVE grassroots club offering football for adults, both men and women; youth, both boys and girls; and also, footbal
l for those who are disabled.
𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡
Our aim is to educate our community about football. The consensus was that other local clubs were non-representative of our community and did little in the way of benefiting the community. They were also not a visible presence in the community, three things we wanted to ensure we could change.
𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗘? We are a Middlesex affiliated football club (Y-MID3242). We are a community grassroots football club, operating as a non-profit, looking to become the first ALL-INCLUSIVE club in Middlesex. We currently have adult men's and women's teams and for the first we are introducing, youth teams from the 2022-23 season. We have recently started Walking Football. And we have future aspirations to run both girls and disability football.
𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗘 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠? Our home, Ealing, is ranked as the 18th most deprived London borough out of the 33 Local Authorities in the region, and 87th most deprived out of 326 Local Authorities nationally. From which, 51.01% of our population is represented by the BAME community, which is significantly above the national average of 14.6%.
𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗣? is an amateur football club, which until recently had been operated as an Unincorporated Association. Our continued growth and expansion pushed The Club to reconsider its legal structure, and in September 2022 The Club proudly announced it's new status as a Community Interest Company (CIC). This is a non-charitable limited company established to provide activities for the benefit of the community or pursue a social purpose. This means that all profits will be retained and reinvested back into the club, for the benefit of our local community. The club and all its members are bound together by the constitution and rules of the club.
