This is the lovely Georgia who’s been attending my classes since Forest House opened in Watford 2 years ago.
Georgia has continued exercising throughout her pregnancy & we’ve made modifications when & where needed. She’s been so dedicated to continue moving her body to maintain her fitness not only for herself but for her baby. We took this photo today at 38 weeks pregnant when she came for her Mat Pilates class. I’m so proud of Georgia & cannot wait to meet the little one who I feel may recognise my voice 😍
This is what Georgia said when I asked her about her exercise journey through pregnancy:
“When I first found out I was pregnant, I was really nervous to continue my regular exercise routine. Jaime’s mat Pilates and reformer classes have been a life saver, so much so that I have continued exercising right up until my due date! She is always making sure there are appropriate adjustments to suit any stage of pregnancy and because of this, I feel confident going to any of her classes, knowing that I am doing the right exercises for my body.
My Pilates practice with Jaime has allowed me to remain strong and feel fit throughout pregnancy and I can’t recommend her enough.”
Exercising through pregnancy is extremely beneficial for both Mum & Baby, including reducing recovery time after the birth as well as being strong & healthy as a new mum. Group classes are great with a trained instructor or feel free to reach out if you prefer 121 support.
