The ocean is just outside this building and the light sparkling through the scales on the ceiling feels like the ocean magic is part of the shopping experience. This is a new mall near where I live.

I hadn’t see these scales until a friend pointed them out. I just thought the ceiling looked beautiful.

It’s no accident that the architects reflect nature in so many details of their designs.

We are creatures of nature so we’re naturally drawn to it; both in its raw form and reimagined in the things around us.

I think the attraction of nature is its way of refuelling our minds with new nutrients, simply by looking at it.

Being in this building gave me a new perspective on what I was previously thinking about, without needing to do a thing.

Reframing things can sometimes be as simple as heading outside and looking around.

The more childlike curiosity we have, the more we will see 🤍

When our vision is bigger than the problems we encounter achieving it, that’s when transformation occurs.

Because we move out of our own way to let it happen.

There’s no rush. Sometimes it takes a minute to know what we really want. And that’s ok.

Transformation isn’t time bound. We can move towards it as we’re ready for it.

My vision is to empower authenticity.

It took me a minute (48 years).

Getting to know our values and living inside them can bring so much peace to our lives.

It was a huge part of the transformation for me, and helped me stop floundering around in my emotions with no idea what to think or feel every time something triggered me.

I’ve added some notes, links and resources that I used to support my values journey into my group ‘Terra Firma’.

THERE’S A CHOICE

“We are where we are for a reason”.

So what’s the reason?

I used to apply my own truth to this question.

This is my s**t, I created it and if I’m misunderstood, so what. I’m used to it.

Until…I felt like a stranger in my own life.

Then things changed. I made them change, and I am not where I was. For a reason.

Knowing I had a choice about my reality set me free, without having to change a thing around me.

Not one other person had to shift their opinion, or accept they were wrong, or change their behaviour, for me to be ok.

I claimed my personal power back and set myself free.

It’s possible. I did, so I know anyone can do it.
