We are Recruiting Senior Support Workers (Day) in Tower Hamlets and Woodford Green
Are you a Senior Residential Support Worker who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties?
Do you want to train to become a qualified systemic practitioner and be able to engage and communicate with young people in a new and improved way?
We are looking for people who are tired of the system the way it is and want to work for an organisation that is prepared to do things differently, to support its staff fully through training and support for you as well as the young people, then please send us your CV and we will be in touch.
We have a bespoke training programme that begins with a 6-month foundation certificate and moves on to an external delivery by the Institute of Family Therapy "Systemic Practice in Residential Childcare". This also runs over 6 months and combines face-to-face teaching with on-the-job training and support.
The shift hours are 7.40 am to 8.00 pm and the rota follows a two-week pattern:
Week 1 (long week)
You will work Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - 5 Days
Week 2 (short week)
You will work Wednesday and Thursday - 2 Days
This pattern means you will have every other weekend off and work 7 days every 2 weeks while still averaging 42 hours a week, giving you lots of time off to ensure a good work-life balance and time to rest between shifts and reducing the amount of travel time and costs to work.
Training days are paid at a flat rate of £50
In your short week, there is also the opportunity to pick up some overtime if you require it.
