Ungrateful fans: Barcelona wouldn't be where we are today without Lamine Yamal.

Since the boy arrived, when has he hidden?

Yes, sometimes his decisions and emotions expose his immaturity.

BECAUSE HE IS A CHILD!

People want the maturity of a 30-year-old from a teenager carrying the expectations of Barcelona and Spain.

Remove Lamine Yamal from Barcelona's recent history and tell me what you see.

Raphinha might be in Saudi Arabia.

Pedri might still be spinning around midfield looking for someone capable of turning his genius into destruction.

Barcelona's rebuild could be years behind.

Xavi Hernández might still be on the touchline scratching his head.

And Real Madrid?

They would be sleeping very comfortably.

Lamine Yamal didn't create Barcelona.

Barcelona existed before him and will exist after him.

But when Barcelona were searching for someone to make the world fear that badge again, a skinny teenager from La Masia stood up and said:

That is why I will tolerate his mistakes.

Correct him. Guide him. Discipline him when necessary.

But never forget what this boy has already done for Barcelona.

Cristiano Ronaldo's relationship with new Al Nassr boss Ange Postecoglou already appears to be under scrutiny just three matches into the season.

Al Nassr completed a remarkable comeback from two goals down to beat rivals Al Ettifaq 3-2 on Tuesday, but it was no thanks to Ronaldo, who earns an astronomical £488,000 a day, that the reigning champions claimed all three points.

The visitors appeared to be heading for defeat after enduring a disastrous first half which saw goalkeeper Bento sent off in the 12th minute for a challenge on former Fulham midfielder Mousa Dembele after rushing out of his box.

Al Ettifaq capitalised, with Ondrej Duda and Alvaro Medran finding the back of the net to take a two-goal lead into half-time.

Ronaldo, who was making his first start of the season following his return from the summer's World Cup, cut a frustrated figure as he headed towards the dressing room at the break.

The 41-year-old forward was seen angrily gesturing and removing his captain's armband as he walked down the tunnel.

Postecoglou then boldly opted to remove Ronaldo before the start of the second half in what turned out to be an inspired move.

Sadio Mane sparked the revival in the 74th minute before defender Abdulelah Al Amri levelled the match three minutes later. Mane then found the back of the net again in the 90th minute to complete the turnaround and seal victory.

Footage of the post-match celebrations showed no sign of Ronaldo celebrating the victory, while Postecoglou refused to indulge questions about his controversial call to drop the Portugal star after the match.

'I think there’s a bigger story today, and that is that ten men of Al Nassr were unbelievable. That's all you should write about today, everything else doesn't matter.

'It doesn't matter what team because if you see 10 men in those conditions for so long, 2-0 down to come back, that's the only story today.'

Mikel Arteta has confirmed Myles Lewis-Skelly will '100 per cent' stay at Arsenal amid strong speculation over the midfielder's future.

Reports last week suggested that the 19-year-old has been offered to Chelsea and Manchester United by intermediaries, sparking uncertainty over the teenager's future.

Lewis-Skelly then scored against Como in a friendly last Wednesday, after which he did a heart-shaped celebration to the crowd.

When asked if he is confident Lewis-Skelly will stay at Arsenal after this transfer window, Arteta replied: '100 per cent.'

Ahead of Arsenal's opening Premier League match against Coventry on Friday, Arteta also confirmed that Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice are fit to be involved.

Saka and Rice came off the bench in the second half of the Gunners' 3-0 victory over Manchester City in the Community Shield on Sunday.
