EustonWall’s Varsity Quiz & Climb 2026
12pm – 4pm | 27th May | £10 per team | Up to 6 per team
EustonWall Varsity Climb and Quiz brings students together for an evening of competition on and off the wall.
Teams earn points through climbing first, then quizzing. Strong climbing helps, but it’s not the only way to win.
The Format
The event has two distinct halves.
In the first half, university teams compete on the wall. Earn points on Griptionite that contribute to each group’s overall score.
Halfway through the evening, we break for pizza (because we love pizza).
The second half shifts focus to a head‑to‑head quiz, inspired by classic pub quizzes and University Challenge.
Quiz points are added to climbing scores and averaged across participants in each team to determine the winning team.

Who It’s For
The event is open to any university students looking to compete as a team. All abilities are welcome, this is about collective effort as much as individual performance.
If you climb regularly (or, at all) with your uni mates or club, this one’s for you. Also, if you’re great at quizzes, this one is for you too.
Booking & Payment
Bookings are made by group reps.
Each booking covers one team and is paid in advance (£10 per team).
Once booked, it’s the group rep’s responsibility to assemble a team of up to six students for the event.
