Yesterday, one of our 2016s and two of our 2017s headed up to the Pitlochry Festival for what turned out to be a fantastic day of football.

All of the kids represented the club brilliantly from start to finish. They played with great effort, showed plenty of skill and teamwork, and most importantly, had lots of fun throughout the day. It was great to see their confidence grow as the games went on and to watch them enjoy the experience of playing against different teams.

Heading up in the morning, we were fully prepared for a wet and miserable day, but the weather had other ideas! Instead of rain, we were treated to sunshine all day long. In fact, some of us even came home with a bit of sunburn, so we certainly can’t complain about that!

A huge credit must go to the organisers of the festival. Everything was very well run, with the day flowing smoothly from start to finish. This was our second time attending the Pitlochry Festival, and once again it proved to be a great experience for both the players and the families who made the trip.

A big thank you to all of the parents and supporters who travelled up and cheered the kids on throughout the day. Your support means a lot and helps make these events so enjoyable for everyone involved.

Most importantly, well done to all of our young players. You should be very proud of yourselves for the effort, attitude, and sportsmanship you showed all day. We had a brilliant time and are already looking forward to returning again in the future.

Bowhill United Greys 2017s took on a really strong, well-drilled side today. A valuable test for the squad with lots of hard work and commitment on display from everyone involved. Back to training to keep working hard and improving🩶

⚽️COACHES PLAYERS OF THE MATCH : It was so hard to split Kinnon Robertson and Kerr Davidson today. Both of them worked their socks off and gave absolutely everything for the team💪🏼

Kinnon - He took no prisoners today. We heard someone say he's like a wee Tasmanian Devil😂 and they weren't wrong! The boy has absolutely no fear and gives 100% every time he steps onto the pitch. Even after picking up an injury he couldn't wait to get back involved. That's exactly the kind of attitude and determination we love to see🙌🏼

A fantastic performance from Bowhill United Blacks 2017s today against a strong opposition. The players showed great determination, teamwork and resilience from start to finish.
Plenty of positives to take from the match and another excellent display of development. Well done everyone🖤

Our 2016s headed to Pittrivie yesterday to take on a very well-drilled Bayside side.

The first half was excellent, and we more than held our own. In the second half, you could see the boys start to tire a little from chasing the ball, but one thing this team never does is give up. Their fighting spirit is brilliant, and we’ll continue to work hard, improve, and get better every week.

The whole team stuck together, worked hard for each other, and showed great determination throughout the game. That’s all we ever ask from them. Well done, boys! 🖤🖤

A massive well done to Danny as well for picking up two Fair Play cards yesterday. Being recognised by two different sets of coaches shows just how much effort he’s putting into his game. Keep working hard, kiddo – you’re smashing it! 👏⚽

Coach’s Man of the Match went to the whole team. The boys stuck together, worked hard, and gave everything for each other from start to finish. That’s what football is all about.
