Last week's update, this week: Putting in the hours 🛠️⏳

Just popped along to do the regular update as I missed it over the weekend!

Even past 7:00 this evening, the guys from Canvas Skateparks were still out there working their socks off trying to get things done. 💪

They had a late delivery of concrete today which didn't arrive until late afternoon, meaning they didn't even get it poured until nearly 5:00 PM. It just goes to show the massive effort these guys are putting in to get this job done for us!

If you're passing by, please show them some appreciation, give them a quick thanks, or even just have a little chat—they love a good chat! 💬🙌

📢 **NEW DATE – SKATE JAM & OFFICIAL OPENING**

Due to unavoidable issues with concrete supplies and the impact of the exceptionally hot weather on laying the skatepark surfaces, the official opening of Llandrindod Wells Skatepark has been postponed.

The Skate Jam and Official Opening will now take place on:

📆Saturday 10 October 2026
⏰Skate Jam: 12pm–5pm
📍Official Opening: 1pm

The event will include free coaching sessions for children, competitions, music, giveaways and prizes**.
