An outstanding weekend of pulling with some hard teams to come up against, the girls pulled with grit and determination! No medals this weekend but our hearts are full with pride ❤️

THANK YOU to everyone’s support and encouragement we really couldn’t have got to where we are today without it! From a small group of girls with the biggest supporters gang behind us, gaining gold in the Welsh championships to representing wales at the British and Irish championships it was an honour and a dream come true!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Llandovery Tug Of War are en route to Cork, Ireland to represent Wales at the British and Irish championship this Saturday. 🇮🇪

Hard work and dedication has got this group of girls to where they are, and a special thank you to Dylan and Rhys our two coaches for all your time and effort to coach us this season.

A massive thank you to all of our sponsors who have made this possible for us to represent our country as well as putting Llandovery on the map!📍

The girls entered the open ladies 560kg competition in the Royal Welsh Show and came 2nd! Pulling against some brilliant teams that we’ve never faced before!

We’re ready to get down to business for the next two weeks before our next stop… IRELAND 🇮🇪

On the 7th of August our team will be travelling out to Cork, Ireland to represent Wales in the ladies 520kg and compete in the British and Irish championships on the 8th of August.

A squad of just 12 girls, our two coaches Dylan and Rhys along with our absolutely amazing supporters to cheer us on through all the highs and lows, we are all absolutely honoured for this new experience given to us.

Our community means everything to us, so let’s put Llandovery on the map. Any support would be gratefully appreciated ❤️🤍❤️
