Had a great first proper ride out of the year to the Ponderosa today with stop at the Tap on the way home. Wonderful weather, nice twisty roads and tyres pretty much scrubbed in. One happy bike :)

First big ride out of the year! Fully enjoyed myself all the way, eben though Ina nearly wet her pants coming down the cat &fiddle road on the way home. Looking like a piggy now, need a good wash!

Its not like we have not been out this year, actually been on a few good ride outs, cat and fiddle, denbigh lake, egg run tribute ride out and today Doof Cafe and Woods, to name but a few. Had been serviced and MOTed in March and all was well. But then one minor and one major fault were unearthed and now we are grounded for the time being. Clutch cable hangs by a thread and desperately wants replacing and there are some little hick ups with the electrics as well. So next week will be dedicated to the Atr of Motorcycle maintenance to reinstall the Zen and make me a happy bike again. Feeling very safe now as well as an alarm device has been fitted on me. :)

Had a lovely little ride out with Ayla today all across the Wirral, got caught by the rain, but not far from shelter, so we were fine. Ended our trip at the tap, which was very quiet on the outside (only 3 bikes, including me) but busy on the inside. Very much enjoyed this little blast today. :)

RBLR National Rally

Done a 334 mile round trip last weekend, all the way to Abergavenny and back again for the RBLR National Rally. Heaps of good looking bikes encountered and lovely roads in sunshine and rain. Feeling goooood, yeah!

The season has finally kicked in now and I have been out a bit more. Been to the Tap a few times now and last Sunday we even went for a proper Ride out via the Pondarosa and a bit through Wales. Most enjoyable and very good practice. Getting on very well with transporting Ayla over short distances. Things are going well so far. :)
