What can I say about that performance?
The girls were exceptional, delivered exactly what we asked, pinned them in their half, moved the ball quickly and got exactly what they deserved.
Ava's not going to have a quieter game but that wasn't because their strikers weren't trying, it because of the girls in front of her winning every duel.
First half Maggie got her first goal of a brilliant hattrick but we struggled to play on a pitch that needed a good cut.
Halftime we talked about getting the ball forwards and not overplaying, and that's exactly what we did.
Maggie completed her hattrick, Ellie got 4 and Connie got 1 to make it 8-0!!!!
POTG though was Mollie. She was at the heart of everything. Left foot, right foot, headers, tackles, brilliant reading of the game a perfect number 10 performance.
Well done to all of them, results like that don't happen by mistake.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Cheered me up after an awful Newcastle game, yesterday.

Disappointing day at the office today. There’s no doubting our ability but when the attitude of just having to turn up to win is present we are always going to struggle. We got what we deserved today. Slightly better second half and we didn’t have much luck. But we have to bounce back fast if we want to compete in this league.

U15s Blues fell to a 3-2 defeat against a competative Maghull team. Ill discipline cost us the game in the end when emotions ran high. Bobby and Dec joint motm. Bobby was like prime Alan Hansen. Calm, composed. A leader. Declan ran his socks off, scored a great goal, and nearly got us a deserved equaliser in the final moments. Well done lads.

Cant fault any of the lads for the effort they put in today, the score line got away from us in the last 10 mins but they were a good side so we cant forget that.
We stayed organised and got up the pitch and got the goal I said we needed at half time to make it 2-1.
Their keeper made a great save from Aid which would have made it 2-2.
Albie was great in goal making some top saves and out to clear any danger through out the game.
Definitely positives to take!
Aid is the man of the match today for his endless work and great finish.

Brilliant performance from all the girls.
Attitude was spot on, effort from all of them was brilliant.
Ellie put us ahead with a customary low finish, Orla restored the lead with a real good cushioned shot into the roof of the net, after they failed to clear from a corner.
Both sides battled, looking for a winner in the end 2-2 is probably about right.
A really good competive, physical game between two teams up for a battle but knowing where the line is.
POTG goes to Ellie. Not just for the goal but all round play across 3 different positions.
Well done girls. Access Sport

Outstanding from all thirteen of them, today. Reuben making his debut for the Yellows showed flashes of what he's going to bring to the team, hopefully his groin heals quickly.
Awful conditions, heavy pitch, against a team who've been scoring for fun and were unbeaten, the lads put last week behind them and were worthy winners.
Great passing football and interplay, starting from the back, linking through Isaac into midfield, utilising the threat from Leo and Laurie, up to the strikers.
We had a few chances early on but when Laurie played an early ball up the channel, their defenders panicked and gave Archie the opportunity to take what has now become a customary long throw into the box. They couldn't deal with it and Jacob was there to convert for 1-0.
Second half, against the wind the lads had to battle and if not for an amazing save from their keeper from a Leo header, it would have been two.
We nullified their attack and I've got to mention Tom, who again came on, tightened everything up and made sure our back line wasn't getting breached.
Well done lads.
MOTM, Jacob. Not just the goal but his all round game was brilliant, won everything in the middle, strong running, good passing. Sudden Sam

Good performance from the Blues today against a competitive Finn Harps, coming away with a 6-2 win. Good performance all round, can't fault the team. Good character shown to come back from 1-0 and 2-1. Motm went to Ethan and Lucas for all round play, quality and goals. 4 wins on the bounce. Crosby Physiotherapy & Sports Injuries Clinic

Convincing 7-0 win today.
For a change, the team started quickly, great football, movement, passing and finishing - a real pleasure to watch.
6 nil at half time and a real opportunity to then go on to enjoy the football and get a few more.
There were good moments in the 2nd half, but too many wanted to showboat, argue, and fight which led to ill discipline, picking up a red and a yellow card.
Eric the cat did save another penalty.
Charlie and Will joint motm for working hard, playing football the right way and always wanting to move forward if they could.
3 wins on the bounce...up the blues

Good game today for FCN Dynamos u12. All boys played to the best of their ability… that I know they can do & tell them to do week in week out. Boys got a great win & kept a clean sheet.
Man of the Match went to James for playing the best I’ve seen him play, for giving his all on every bit of the pitch & getting a well & truly fully deserved goal 🏆 NJR Travel Solutions

What a performance from the boys today! Couldn’t be more pleased with the effort, determination and desire they showed against a very physical side.

From the first whistle, the boys matched them step for step, never backing down and showing exactly the kind of grit and character that you need in games like this. Every single one of the boys put in a fantastic shift, and honestly, any one of them could have been named Man of the Match by the parents, the coaches or the referee.

It’s especially pleasing to finally get that first win on the record — and one that we fully deserved. I really feel that this team is getting better and better with every game.

When we get the ball down, move it around and play our football, we are a phenomenal side. But today was a reminder that football isn’t always about playing pretty. Sometimes you need that extra bit of grit, determination and desire to get you over the line — and today, we had all of it. It was nice to do a half time talk where we didn’t leave ourselves a mountain to climb 😀

The boys dug deep, battled for each other and showed a fantastic team spirit from start to finish.

A brilliant victory, a fully deserved win, and hopefully the first of many!

Mega proud of every single one of them
