Yesterdays result was dissapointing, the performance just wasn't there, we never got going and we were punished for sloppy play and silly mistakes.
Liv was the stand out, battling in midfield and up front and coming inches from scoring goal of the season - think Nayim v Arsenal and you're on the right lines.
However, yesterday afternoon, players, parents, grandparents, siblings and friends, came together to celebrate what has been another fantastic season of highs, lows, development and most of all fun.
It's a pleasure being part of the these girls footballing journey and long may it continue.

After the game last week, we needed to find a way to recapture that competitive edge, so training on Wednesday, that was the sole focus.
Today the girls delivered, competing for every ball, keeping the ball in their half and making sure levels never dropped despite the heat.
Playing against a side who had hammered us in the Spring League, the girls were on it from the first minute, pressing, restricting the opposition to breakaways.
A good ball from Ava2 saw Connie opening the scoring and we were unlucky not to extend the lead but in the end when the
opposition equalised late on, a draw was probably a fair result.
We have to give mentions to Charlotte who played as well as we've ever seen her, Martha who wouldn't have played had everyone been available but despite being ill put in a great shift and Maggie who's become an absolute stalwart for the team.
POTG was Arabella. As she always does she dominated the midfield and covered every blade of grass; breaking up attacks and getting us moving forwards. Which was even more commendable given the conditions...and yes, we had hydration breaks.

First game back and the girls can be proud of their performance, second half especially.
We were too slow in the first half and let them have too much time to pick passes and create chances, we didn't get out quick enough so the ball just kept coming back.
Second half we were a lot better, challenging all over the pitch, getting higher and playing in their half.
We had them pinned in their box but just couldn't find a way through, Arabella forcing their keeper into an excellent save, with a first time shot that was bending into the top corner.
Ava was outstanding. Save after save, hands feet, body - probably the best game she's had.
They are a very good team and second half, we gave them a real battle. This is a tough league so we've got to rediscover our nasty, physical side that we had when we first started playing. If we can do that and add it to the good football, we'll be fine.
