This is the biggest step towards progress and results…

So don’t let it hold you back! 🫵

It is far easier said than done so how do we build this up?

Here are the steps I took in order to become more consistent…

- Booking training sessions like appointments
- Picking exercises I enjoy
- Following a structured plan
- Tracking each session
- Switching my routine frequently to avoid boredom

Building a foundation is the most challenging part so make sure you stick to it 💪

Using these 5 steps you will find it easier to show up 🤝

Bognor 10k! 🙌

Managed to smash my previous 10k PB by over a full minute 🤯

Getting an official time of 54:38 (although my Strava time was 54:18 😅)

Despite training slowing down due to injury after injury I still managed to show up on the day and give it everything I had 💪

The support from the crowd at the end really pushed me all the way to the limit and it goes to show that running really is a mental game as much as it is physical 🧠

Ecstatic with the result I was able to produce today and looking forward to trying to beat it at the next one 🫡

Worthing Half Marathon 2026 🤩

This event was amazing and so much fun 😁

I managed to get a total time of 2:22:29!

I was very pleased with this result as I went into it wanting a sub 2:30:00 🤝

It was my first ever time running a distance above 10k 🤯

Jumping straight from 10k to a Half Marathon was far from easy 😅

What made this even more special to me is that leading up to the event I wasn’t sure if I would be able to recover from my injury in time…

After a lot of recovery work and patience I was able to overcome my injury and go out there and smash it 💪

Such a brilliant experience and I already can’t wait until the next one 🙌

Everyone focuses on the highs of a health and fitness journey…

However the lows usually get overlooked 🧐

The most common factor which can halt someone’s journey is injury 🤕

I know this very well as I am currently recovering from an ankle injury 😔

The mental battle caught me by surprise as I found my routine suddenly changing…

From not being able to do any gym work to begin with to now only being able to do half of what I’m used to!

How can we overcome this mental battle?

Setting a task to recover from the injury in the most effective way possible will become your new training 💪

In my case this is making sure I am taking time to strengthen my ankle doing things such as stretching or walking 🫡

Now my routine has not been broken but has simply been replaced by a nice outdoor walk which will always have its own benefits 🙌

So instead of letting your injury hold you back, take it as an opportunity…

Switch your current session to a rehabilitation session and learn some new movements ✍️

Or go for a walk outside at the time your session was going to be 🤝

This way you will stay in the routine of training at the same time so when you are ready to train again it will be far easier to restart as you never broke the routine to begin with!

Khazana has been working with me for a week and a half and the progress she has made is nothing short of amazing! 🙌

The work she puts in session after session is truly inspirational and it goes to show that when you put the effort in you will get results in return 💪

Incredibly proud of how far she has come and can’t wait to see her continue to improve as we put the effort in 🫡

Do you struggle with variety in your gym work? 🤔

You find yourself getting bored of repeating the same movements session after session…

This is one of the most common reasons why motivation levels drop causing people to train less or even quit 😳

So it is important we get it right 🫡

How do we do this?

What I do with my clients is alter their programme every month to ensure the sessions remain interesting and they stay engaged 🙌

This can be done without changing the focus of the entire session 🧐

All exercises have substitutes that will focus on the same muscle group but with a different movement…

This is how we prevent sessions from feeling repetitive and boring!

Creating a plan that is fun and engaging will achieve the most important factor that will get results… 📈

Hyrox London Olympia 2026 🙌

Myself and Connor Williams Personal Training completed our first ever Hyrox event and what an event to start with!

5 months ago we booked this event without knowing what to expect but what a decision it was 😁

By throwing myself into this I have learnt so much about myself and how far I can truly push my body…

Now it’s time to get the head back down and work towards improving this time 🫡

On to the next 💪

Having a good time at the Littlehampton Wave Red Nose Day 🔴

A lot of classes and spinning for a good cause and an overall amazing day!

(Currently writing this caption on the spin bike 😅)

We still have 6 hours left to get to 1000km 🫡

I have set myself a task to accomplish 100km across the entire day to contribute a tenth of the distance…

Reached the 25km mark so let’s hope I make it 🤞

Make sure to head down to the wave to come and say hello and get involved 😁

I look forward to seeing as many people here as possible!

I have made myself the task of trying new activities…

This has come from the idea of completing an iron man in the future 🫡

(Aiming very high I know 😅)

After doing this for the past 2 weeks I have tried:
- Swimming
- Long walks (even better with the sun coming out ☀️)
- Cycling
- Golf
- Badminton
- Fitness classes

Learning new skills and finding hobbies to do has been so amazing and I can’t wait to carry this journey on 😁

I have noticed significant improvements in mental health since starting and would recommend this to anyone 🙌

Especially if you are someone who finds themselves struggling with boredom frequently 🤝

You never know you could find something you enjoy enough to make it your main training focus!

(Since starting swimming this has crossed my mind 👀)

I am lucky enough to know people who specialise in areas such as swimming or golf to give me a big advantage 😉

However if you wanted to experiment within the gym environment…
