A patched up Lions got there season up and running with a feisty friendly against Old Technicians RFC at Lux Park. Old Techs taking the spoils, thanks for coming down and good luck for the season 👏

The Lions will benefit from getting 80 minutes into the legs and turn attention to next Saturday where they face Plymouth Arguam away.

Stalwart prop Mike Mander for once was not the oldest player on show 😉with Jamie Husband joining his son Josh on the pitch for a late cameo💪🦁

Rugby is back at Lux Park🏉

We welcome Old Techs RFC for a 2.30pm kick off, as the Lions finally get there preseason up and running. Please come along and support your local Rugby Club🏉

⚫️Senior Rugby News🔴

➡️The seniors kick off there season with a home friendly against Old Techs RFC next Saturday🦁

➡️This season sees a number of players nearing significant landmarks….coaches Yestin and Johno closing in on 300 recorded appearances.

James Rogers, Michael Prowse, Kieran Knight and captain Callum Beaver will have eyes on reaching 100 caps.

Alex Kendall, Billy Warner, Cian Goldsmith and Dan Lethbridge close to 50 caps.

Fantastic effort from all the lads👏👏
