“THANK YOU” ECHLINVILLE
We are delighted to once again announce that The Echlinville Distillery will partner us with their “back of shirt” sponsorship for the 2026-2027 season – which will be the ELEVENTH consecutive season that Echlinville along with their award winning Dunville’s Irish Whiskey brand have very generously backed us in a unique historical link.
“Distillery”, a unique name in world football, will once again proudly sport the iconic “Dunville's” name and logo on our first team kits for the season ahead.
It was back in 1880 that our famous club was formed by employees of Dunville's Irish Whiskey, which was then one of the world’s biggest whiskey brands. The Echlinville Distillery became the proud custodians of the iconic brand in 2012, reviving it with the goal of bringing “The Spirit of Belfast” back to the world and restoring it to its place among the world’s best whiskeys.
“We are proud of our history and especially proud to have “Dunville's” with us once again for the new season” said Distillery chairman Ryan McQuillan. “After 145 years of footballing history it's fantastic to still have a special link to the renowned business where we started out with a kick-around in November 1880.
As a club we have written a considerable history since then, and today Dunville’s Irish Whiskey continues to write history with its award-winning range, so remaining a living part of the Dunville's history is special to us too.
On behalf of the club and our supporters I thank Echlinville owner Shane Braniff and his team for their backing, interest, encouragement, the continuance of that unique historical link and their much valued-friendship.”
Shane Braniff said: “We are delighted to continue our long standing partnership with Distillery Football Club, celebrating our unique shared history, which stretches right back to the club’s foundation. Dunville’s Irish Whiskey is built on heritage, tradition and authenticity. Those are values that we share with Distillery Football Club as we look forward to another successful season on and off the pitch.”
