ROUND 1 & 2 - ROWRAH ๐
ROUND 1
We got given a poor random grid slot for qualifying which put us in traffic for the majority resulting in a P15 start for the heats. Far from where we wanted to be.
Results:
Heat 1 - P15
Heat 2 - P14
Final - P14
ROUND 2
Similarly to R1 due to championship order and a poor start we were at the back of the grid for quali, resulting in traffic putting us P13.
Results:
Heat 1: P9
Heat 2: P15, (was up to P10 but got spun round)
Final: P6 ๐ (up 5 places)
During the final, H drove with such maturity, consistency and patience with making moves and put people under pressure into making mistakes to capitalise from.
Each time this boy races I am eternally proud, he has learned so much in the last 2 weekends racing with the best in the country.
Considering our only goal before the end of the season was a top 6 trophy, and he did it in the first weekend. What a way to start the year.
As always, thank you so much to everyone that has supported us on our journey, especially and our new mechanic for their hard work and dedication to giving Henry the best kart possible. Thank you to and others (you know who you are for all the support back home, and finally for being a quality team mate.
