The name is based on its location at the school on Cross OโCliff Hill, Lincoln. Until 2013 the club used the old sports hall, with four courts. From January 2013 the club moved to the new sports hall, situated 200 metres from the old hall. This new hall, part of a ยฃ7million development at the school, has extra space around and above the courts, rubberised flooring, brighter lighting and six badmin
ton courts ensuring no player has to sit off for long. The club switched from plastic shuttles to feather shuttles in 2009, with a subsequent increase in the quality of game play. The club now uses Yonex AS30 feather shuttles during club nights as well as in competitive matches. A number of club players have represented Lincolnshire at various age levels. One ex-member Harley Towler was previously in the England National set-up. If you love badminton and would like to join a fantastic club with great people in a vibrant and social environment then Cross O'Cliff is the place to be. Our club night is every Wednesday evening at The Priory Academy LSST from 7:00pm - 9:30pm. The school is located on Cross O'Cliff Hill in Lincoln. The club enters mens, ladies and mixed teams into the Newark and District Badminton League and has had much success over the years. We are always on the lookout for players of a good standard to join our club as a member and represent 'The Cliff' at level or mixed doubles. Please feel free to send us a message and get in contact should you wish to come down for a game.
