Our newly extended patio area all ready for summer.
Also, a new bin store to get rid of the unsightly bins from the front of our venue.

Volunteers play such a huge, integral, role in the running of our little club.

Without our volunteers, our club wouldn’t be what it is today, and due to their commitment and dedication in what they do, our club is in a great place and a great place to be.

With that said, we extend our gratitude to all of our volunteers that are made up from all of our sections and sports across the board…. THANK YOU ALL 🙌🏻

Chris Whelan….. local landlord, truly genuine guy, great friend and an all round top bloke with a heart of gold.
A man who not only was at the heart of the community, but built a community within The George & Dragon, Lichfield that he ran.

Chris was welcoming, funny, kind, and had a passion for everything he did and everyone around him, and at the forefront of everything he loved, was his family, Emma, Lily, Dougie and Betsy.

Chris’s passing was unexpected, but he leaves a legacy that no one can take away.

You’ll find a collection tin on our club bar and any donations are greatly appreciated, to help ease the pressure on Emma and Chris’s family.

Today we are host to the beginning of a special journey.
The wedding of Nataliia and Daniel 🤵🏻‍♂️👰🏼‍♀️🥂
What makes it more special is Nataliia’s back story….

Nataliia came to England in 2022 to escape the war in Ukraine 🇺🇦.
Nataliia’s words to her host family were “I’m not going to fall in love with an English man, I intend on going home”

With many qualifications gained at university in Ukraine, Nataliia secured and settled in a job at Tippers as an accountant, which she was fully qualified as, and within this job, she met Daniel.
She fell in love, and the rest…. Well that’s history!

Huge congratulations Nataliia and Daniel 🥂
