Thanks so much to all of you that have bought one of my poetry books. I have now sold over half of them, which is brilliant. If you would like to buy one and help the charities in Uganda that I am supporting, then please click on the link below.

This is Chris’ first poetry collection. Chris is 27 and has a learning disability and bi-polar. He wrote the poems to show some of the issues faced by young people with disabilities and mental health issues as well as sharing his thoughts on issues facing us today

Poem about Father’s Day

We should all celebrate and remember the fathers in our lives.

and the ones that I have gone before but not forgotten on this special day.

and the families and sons and daughters who don’t have fathers anymore .

should be remembered for all the positive things that the fathers have impacted or made a difference onto people lives.

Also I want to highlight the ones who don’t have fathers, or fathers figures that they can look up to or role models well as.

To become a father or father figure is not easy also don’t take lightly or for granted

it will get bumpy along the way but you just have to persevere trust him show a lot of respect patience being there through the difficult times that are ahead of you and your families also communicate well to each others.

Poem about rejection

How does feel for Chris to feel rejected by people who he fought he was his friend but sadly wasn’t. He could trust also rely on.

It is not very nice or fair to anyone not just Chris to feel rejected by peers people, by society.

we need to do more for people who feel they have been rejected. Or have no one to listen to be heard and seen or turned to have no others friends.

for what they can offer although they can do to this world 🌎 job youth club or anything else.

So once can be done to address this problem don’t let the problem dragged on. For years and decades to come and try to eradicate the problems to find a solution.

It doesn’t come that easy to find a solution but with the faith🕋and trusting god🙏whatever religion, faith you believe in.

Although belong you find your firm place and position with 👋 by follow the right path not the wrong path of the walk with Jesus or any other faith

I hope this helps anyone that felt they been rejected they always someone listening and don’t forget about you despite all your mess he has forgiven you so just give it to him also he will do the rest.

Shine light 💡 poem

We all need to be a shinning light in this dark place world just by be nice to one another kind to each other that doesn’t go far enough. How do go about this by look 👀 out check on people. for the vulnerable, disability,mental health,marganilsed community.

Who doesn’t have many friends in life so let’s be more kinder and love each other says that in the bible to love one another rather then hurt one another it doesn’t lead you anywhere in life .

do the way you like to be treated people will treat you with respect if we don’t treat people with respect they will leave you won’t be friends anymore.

So let’s turn tables 🆙 side down if you with me let’s be part of a change for young people all disability mental health poverty marganalised communities.

Who with me let’s start the change now rather then wait 30 years in time.

Giving back to the community

Chris Reid who has a learning disability has set up his own fundraising business. He designs hats and t-shirts with inspirational messages and then sells them with all proceeds going to Youth charities. Chris attended the Mencap Interns Programme and uses a lot of the skills that he learnt there to run his business. He wants to give back to the charities and communities that have supported him over the years.
So far he has raised over £500.

Poems about people being prejudice towards me

When I am not allowed to play my gospel music which not really fair to me and others that may want to listen to.

How In the long run going to help people who want to be kind to one another.

Is going to cause bad friendships groups and conflicts in communities do we actually want that to happen how are we going to change from happening

Rather being prejudice towards people of different colour but affect them who they are try and be helpful understanding them from a there point of view.

So if we really want to see change In our local area world community we live we need changed our mindsets how we are living if we don’t we end in our spiral 🌀 which is not really good for mental health wellbeing soul mind.

Challenge stereotypes and injustice

Be kind to yourself try not be hard on yourself.

Lord send revival into youth clubs poems

If they is no youth clubs there simply no youth and children work.

in a nutshell so how as a church and government going to solve this problem by giving more funding resources to youth services children clubs day centres. Schools

Enough is enough let’s sort this problem once for alll who with sons and daughters of god
