🎾☀️ Learning, playing and having fun!

From our DRH Mini Orange Academy players developing their tennis skills on court, to our Camp GO participants enjoying games and activities in the sunshine, it's been fantastic to see so many young people active, engaged and smiling this week.

At DRH Sports, we believe that great player development starts with creating environments where children can learn, challenge themselves, make friends and enjoy being active. Whether that's through structured academy training or holiday camp adventures, every session is designed to help children grow in confidence both on and off the court.

A huge well done to all of our players and campers for bringing their energy, enthusiasm and best efforts each day. 👏

A big well done to all of our DRH Sports players who competed in the LSTC Easter Open last week 👏

Across the board, the level of attitude, effort and performance on display was outstanding. Competing, learning, supporting each other and representing themselves the right way from start to finish.

That’s what it’s all about.

4 days into Crete 2026 and it already has all the makings of something really special ☀️🎾

What an incredible experience this is for both the players and coaches to be part of. High quality tennis training in the sunshine, mixed in with padel, football, swimming, table tennis, mini golf, plenty of laughs and of course a bit of banter along the way.

All of it set against an unbelievable backdrop. Mountains on one side, crashing waves on the other. It doesn’t get much better than this.

We feel incredibly lucky to be part of this and are hoping this is just the first of many trips like it.

A big thank you to Caitlin and Steve, along with parent helper Martin. Trips like this don’t happen without the people behind the scenes, and this week is as much down to them as anything else.

Thank you to for helping put this all together for us!

What a week it’s been at Camp GO at ! 🙌🎾

The energy, the smiles, and the fun have been non-stop. Our team of dedicated coaches have been brilliant all week, creating an environment where every child feels included, active, and excited to be there.

From football, tennis, dodgeball, cricket and basketball, to team games and arts & crafts, the kids have been doing it all. Every day finishes with tired legs, big smiles, and kids already asking to come back again, which so many of them are! 💙

It’s been incredible to see so many returning day after day, a real sign of just how much they’re enjoying it.

We’ve got one more week to go and there are still a few spaces left for anyone who wants to get involved!

Huge congratulations to Steve Sumpter and the Bucks U14 Boys team on winning their division at the recent 12 Counties event at Corby Tennis Club 🏆

Representing both and , the team of Miguel, Robin, Alex and Alex put in an outstanding performance across the event.

Steve has worked with these players for a number of years, and this result is a reflection of that long-term commitment, guidance and belief. He continues to be a fantastic role model, not just as a coach, but as a mentor to the players he supports.

A brilliant achievement from everyone involved. The team showed real quality while representing the DRH pillars of Respect, Fair Play, Dedication, Teamwork and Leadership with pride.

Hard work going in at the Academy at Club🎾🔥

These sessions are packed with players who are competing regularly, training multiple times per week and fully committed to improving their games. The focus is always on developing the technical, tactical, physical and mental skills needed to perform on court.

For many of these players, tennis is more than just a weekly activity. They have big long-term goals and aspirations, and sessions like these are where the foundations are built.

Improvement comes from consistent effort, great coaching and a training environment where players push and support each other every time they step on court.

It’s fantastic to see the commitment, energy and positive attitude from this group week in, week out. The future looks very exciting for these young players 👏
