Can I ask you something?

Are you constantly saying you’ll start on Monday?

You know you need to exercise.
You know you should eat better.
You know you’d feel better if you looked after yourself more.

But life gets in the way.

Work is busy.
The kids need you.
The house needs sorting.
The to-do list never ends.

By the time you’ve done everything for everyone else, you’re exhausted and the last thing you feel like doing is a workout.

So you tell yourself you’ll start next week.

Then next week becomes next month.

And before you know it, another year has passed and you’re still feeling stuck.

Maybe you’ve tried diets before.
Maybe you’ve joined a gym and stopped going.
Maybe you’ve followed random workouts online but struggled to stay consistent.

The problem isn’t that you’re lazy.

The problem is that you’ve been trying to do it all on your own.

As a personal trainer, my job isn’t just to give you workouts.

It’s to help you create a plan that fits around your real life.

A plan that works around school runs, work meetings, family commitments, holidays and all the chaos that comes with everyday life.

A plan that helps you build confidence, strength, energy and healthy habits without spending hours in the gym or cutting out all the foods you enjoy.

Because fitness shouldn’t take over your life.

It should improve it.

So if you’ve read this and thought, “That’s exactly me,” then this is your sign.

Drop me a message or comment “ME” below, and let’s chat about how we can make this the time you finally stop starting over.

Mums with daughters... this one’s for you

How many times have you stood in front of the mirror and picked apart your body?

How many photos have you avoided being in because you didn’t like how you looked?

How many times have you covered up at the beach, pulled at your clothes or criticised your reflection when no one else was even noticing?

And then, in the very next breath, you’ve tried to tell your daughter that she’s beautiful exactly as she is.

This is me right now!

I know how hard it can be to navigate your own insecurities whilst trying to raise a daughter who grows up feeling confident in her own skin.

Because the truth is, our daughters are always watching.

They notice when we hide from the camera.
They hear the comments we make about our bodies.
They see us covering up and shrinking ourselves.

And whether we mean to or not, they’re learning from us.

That doesn’t mean we have to love every inch of ourselves every single day.

It doesn’t mean we can’t have goals or want to feel stronger, healthier or more confident.

But what if we focused less on punishing our bodies and more on appreciating what they do for us?

What if we exercised because we value our health, our strength and our wellbeing—not because we hate what we see in the mirror?

What if our daughters saw us moving our bodies with confidence, fuelling ourselves properly and speaking to ourselves with kindness?

Imagine the message that would send.

I’m not striving for perfection and I don’t expect you to either.

But I do want my daughter to grow up seeing a mum who respects her body, takes care of herself and knows her worth isn’t determined by a number on a scale.

Maybe that’s the real reason to start putting yourself first.

Not just for you.

But for the little girl who’s watching and learning how to feel about herself through your example. ❤️

If you’re reading this thinking...

“I know I should exercise but I just don’t have the time.”

“I’ve got too much on my plate already.”

“I’ll start when life calms down.”

Then this post is for you. ❤️

Practising what I preach, I’m a mum of two young children, a primary school teacher and a personal trainer.

Life is busy.
Really busy.

And honestly?

There are plenty of days when I don’t feel like training.

But I do it anyway because I know how much it helps me mentally, physically, and emotionally. It helps me show up as the best version of myself for my children.
It gives me the energy to run around with them, look after my health and be the role model I want them to have.

The good news is that getting fitter and stronger doesn’t mean spending hours in the gym.

It means being consistent.

It means having a structured plan that works around your life, not against it.

It means finding balance and creating habits that are sustainable long term.

If you’re ready to prioritise yourself again, but don’t know where to start, I’d love to help.

Send me a message and let’s chat.

Today I welcomed back Andrea Sally Rose and we focused on rebuilding, not rushing

Before training, Andrea and I spoke through her delivery, recovery and how healing has been going so far.

Postpartum bodies deserve patience and support so the session was designed to feel safe, manageable and to rebuild Andrea’s confidence

Today’s session included
Low-impact lower body exercises
Pelvic floor-friendly movements
Gentle strength work to reconnect muscles

No “bounce back” pressure here

The goal is simply to become a healthier mummy — with habits that fit real life, sleepless nights and all that comes with being a new mummy

That means we are not making huge changes that feel impossible to stick to.

Instead, we’ve started with three simple foundations:
1. Making healthier food choices most of the time
2. Aiming for 4,000–6,000 steps per day to gently increase movement
3. 1 strength session per week to rebuild strength gradually

Why this matters?

These small habits are realistic, sustainable and powerful when done consistently
They build energy, strength and confidence without overwhelming a new mum’s schedule or recovery

To any new mums reading this -
You do not need to do extreme workouts, cut out all your favourite foods or have endless free time to start feeling better in your body

You can begin with simple, doable steps — and they count

If you’re postpartum and want support rebuilding strength safely, improving your energy and creating habits that actually fit motherhood, I’d love to help

If you’re feeling like you’re doing everything right but your body still isn’t changing, read this…

You’re squeezing in extra cardio sessions
You’re trying to eat “healthy” most of the time
You’re starting over every Monday
You’re frustrated because you know you’re putting in effort but the results never seem to match

And deep down, you’re starting to wonder if maybe you’re just not doing enough

The truth?

You don’t need to spend 6 days a week in the gym
You don’t need to do endless cardio
And you definitely don’t need another extreme diet that leaves you exhausted and miserable!

What you need is a plan that fits around your life

A plan that works with your job, your family, your social life and everything else you already have on your plate

Because the ones who get the best results aren’t necessarily the ones training the hardest

They’re the ones following a structured plan and staying consistent long enough to let it work

Imagine knowing exactly what to do every week

No guessing
No starting over
No feeling guilty because you missed a workout

Just a clear plan, support and steady progress that actually fits your lifestyle

If you’re tired of putting in effort and not seeing the results you deserve, send me a message with “READY” and let’s talk about how we can make your goals fit your life - not the other way around

This photo almost didn’t get posted.

Not because I wasn’t on holiday.
Not because I wasn’t having an amazing time.

But because, just like so many mums I speak to, I spent far too much time worrying about what I looked like in a bikini.

You know that feeling?

Walking from your sunbed to the pool convinced everyone is looking at you.

Pulling at your swimsuit.

Covering your stomach with a towel.

Avoiding photos with your kids because you hate how you think you’ll look.

Telling yourself you’ll get in the picture “next year” when you’ve lost the weight or feel better in yourself.

The sad part is that while you’re worrying about all of that, your children don’t see any of it.

They just see Mum.

The person they want splashing in the pool.
The person they want building sandcastles on the beach.
The person they want in the photos and memories.

I know how easy it is to put yourself last.

To spend years looking after everyone else while your own confidence slowly disappears.

To look at holiday photos and focus on everything you don’t like about yourself instead of the memories being made.

But confidence doesn’t come from having the “perfect” body.

It comes from keeping promises to yourself.
Looking after yourself.
Feeling strong.
Feeling capable.
Feeling proud of the woman staring back at you in the mirror.

If you’ve got a holiday coming up and you’re already dreading the bikini, the photos, or the beach, know that you’re not alone.

And more importantly, know that it doesn’t have to stay this way.

Drop a ❤️ below if you’ve ever felt this way on holiday.

You know what’s strange?

You spend your whole life putting your family first.

You work hard
You provide
You show up for the school runs, the football matches, the birthdays, the holidays and all the little moments in between

Yet somewhere along the way, you stopped recognising yourself

Not because you’re a bad parent
Not because you’ve failed
But because everyone else’s needs came before your own

Now the holiday is coming up.

And while everyone else is excited about the sunshine, the pool and the beach...

You’re worrying about how you’ll look
You avoid mirrors
You hate seeing yourself in photos
You wear clothes that hide your body rather than clothes you actually want to wear
You tell yourself you’ll sort it out when things calm down

But things never really calm down, do they?

The kids still need you
Work is still demanding
Life still gets in the way

So another month passes. Then another. Then another.

And the confidence you once had feels even further away

The hardest part isn’t the extra weight.

It’s the way it affects everything else.

The way you walk into a room.
The way you feel around your partner.
The way you avoid photos with your children.
The way you quietly criticise yourself every day.

You deserve better than that.

Imagine going on holiday and not worrying about who’s taking the pictures.
Imagine playing with your children in the pool without feeling self-conscious.
Imagine opening your wardrobe and liking what you see.
Imagine feeling proud of yourself again.

Not because you’ve become perfect.

But because you’ve finally started putting yourself back on your own priority list.

If you’re ready to stop making excuses and start feeling like yourself again, send me a message.

You don’t need a perfect plan.
You just need a realistic one.
And someone who understands exactly how you feel, because I get it and feel exactly the same.

Let’s do this together 💪🏼

Because let’s be honest, the school run can feel like a competition in itself.

Who looks more put together.
Who looks fitter.
Who seems more confident.

Be honest…

Have you ever stopped before walking in?
Adjusted your clothes a bit.
Pulled your top down slightly.
Hoping no one’s really looking at you?

And suddenly… it’s not just the school run anymore.

It feels like you’re being quietly judged the second you step through the gate.

So you keep your head down.
Say a few hellos.
Get in and out as quickly as possible.

And the hardest part?

You never used to feel like this.

You used to feel comfortable in yourself.
Confident.
Not constantly thinking about how you look.

But somewhere along the way… that changed.

So I want to help you change it 💛

✨ I’m giving away 1 month of FREE coaching ✨

No intimidating gym environment.
No pressure.
Just simple, supportive sessions to help you start feeling like YOU again.

Ever catch yourself eating the leftover fish fingers… cold… standing at the kitchen counter?

Not because you’re hungry.
Just because it’s there.
And you haven’t had a second to yourself all day.

You tell yourself you’ll “eat properly later”…
But later turns into grabbing a biscuit while making packed lunches, finishing the crusts off your kid’s toast and calling that dinner

By the end of the day, you’re exhausted.
Not just tired… mentally done.
So you reach for something quick, something easy, because thinking about you feels like one more job you don’t have energy for.

And then comes that quiet thought:

“Why can’t I just get a grip?”

But it’s not about willpower.

It’s what happens when you spend all day putting yourself last.

No structure.
No time.
No plan that actually fits your life.

So you end up eating what’s left… instead of what you need.

If that sounds familiar, I’m putting together something specifically for busy mums who feel stuck in this cycle -
no extremes
no guilt
just a way to take back a bit of control (without flipping your whole life upside down).

Do you ever walk into the school playground and instantly compare yourself to every other mum there?

Who looks more put together.
Who looks fitter.
Who looks more confident.

Be honest…

Have you ever adjusted your clothes before walking in?
Pulled your top down a little?
Hoped no one’s really looking at you?

It’s mad, isn’t it?

You’re just doing the school run…
but it can feel like you’re being silently judged.

So you keep your head down.
Say a few hellos.
Get in and out as quickly as possible.

And the frustrating part?

You never used to feel like this.

You used to feel more comfortable in yourself.
More confident.
Less aware of how you looked.

But somewhere along the way… that changed.

So I want to do something about it 👇
