First Round ๐Ÿ†š Adam Leek โŒ 3-6

These two met back at Players Championship 17. Adam Leek had two great checkouts of 108 and 121 on route to winning 6-3. Chris Wickenden went behind 2-0 before drawing it back level, Leek would then just drift away from Wickenden. Not their finest work in this one, but they both showed glimpses.

First Round ๐Ÿ†š Yorick Hofkens โŒ 5-6

This game started off as a strong contest where neither player could break throw. Wickenden finally managed to win a leg on the Hofkens throw to take a 5-4 lead, however, the German would win the last two legs to take the victory. Wickenden will be playing again in Wigan tomorrow for the next Players Championship Event.

Another two days on the Pro Tour this week. It is valuable experience, I am learning all the time. Highs and lows are part of the game and I experience both of them this week. A standout moment being a 6-2 victory against World Number 3 and European Champion, Gian Van Veen. In all honest, I am gutted to have not come away with more from the two days play, but the experiences have showed me some areas Iโ€™m going to dedicate time to.

Iโ€™m currently knocking at the door and wonโ€™t stop until it opens.
