There's nothing quite like that feeling on edging towards that horizon line, whether it's paddling a waterfall, riding a bike down a steep hill or skiing down a scary black run. That feeling of anticipation, anxiety and excitement - and commitment when you know there's no turning back.

As instructors we try to push ourselves all the time, which is why we can relate when people come to us and try to push themselves.

Question to our followers... have you every done anything that envokes these emotions? If so we'd love to hear what it was. If not, is it something you'd like to experience?

Have a guess where this photos was taken. You may think somewhere far away like the Alps or the somewhere in America. But actually this place is only a short drive away. It's Llyn Geirionydd in North Wales. You can take a look on Google Maps, it's slightly away from a lot of the tourism, making it a bit more peaceful.
