Asfordby Amateurs Ladies, Girls & Inclusive FC From Kick-About to Kick-Ass! ⚽
What started as a sociable kick-about in August 1999 has grown into something truly special!

Thanks to our brilliant chairlady Sharon Reason, we've gone from scrambling for 11 players on boggy pitches to becoming one of the biggest girls and women's football clubs in Leicestershire and beyond.

25 years on, we're 250+ girls and women strong across 20 teams - including our amazing Inclusive section running for 20 years! We welcome players aged 4 to 18+ of all abilities. Every volunteer is DBS checked with relevant FA qualifications (Level 1-3), plus Safeguarding, Player Welfare and First Aid. Run by the community, for the community - it's what makes us special! Training at Long Field Spencer Academy (summer) and John Ferneley College's floodlit 3G (winter). Home matches at Long Field for juniors, Holwell Sports & Social Club for adults. Come join our football family - it's been quite the journey from those baggy kits and boggy beginnings!

💎 UNDER 14 GEMS

The Gems showed great determination to keep pushing throughout the game. After a difficult first half, the girls came out stronger in the second half and worked hard together to get two goals back. A great show of team spirit! 🩵👏

🌟 UNDER 15s

A great performance from the U15s and a real improvement from last week. The girls really clicked, handled the bigger pitch superbly and put in another fantastic effort. 💙

💫 UNDER 18 SAPPHIRES

A tough game for the Sapphires, but the girls worked incredibly hard and battled throughout. They showed great determination and kept going right until the final whistle. 🩵👏

💎 UNDER 18 DIAMONDS

The U18 Diamonds put in a fantastic performance against a side they faced five times last season. They battled hard throughout, grew into the game and showed great teamwork. Three quality goals rounded off a brilliant effort from the girls! 💎🩵

🌟 UNDER 11s

The U11s faced a strong LCFC side and gave 100% from start to finish. The girls never stopped competing and showed great determination throughout. Plenty of positives to take into next week! 🩵👏

💫 UNDER 12s

A really positive performance from the U12s against a good Borough Alliance side. Some great individual performances and lots of improvement from the girls. 💪🩵

⚽ UNDER 13s

After a summer of tournaments and friendlies, the U13s had a fantastic day where everything clicked. The girls showed great teamwork and attacking football, with plenty of different players getting on the scoresheet and a clean sheet to top it off! 🌟🩵

💎 UNDER 14 DIAMONDS

The Diamonds went on an adventure to Shirebrook with 11 players, and every single one worked incredibly hard. They battled well, showed great determination and put in a brilliant team performance. 🩵💎

Sunday 13th September brought another busy day of girls’ football, with plenty of effort, determination and smiles across the teams. 🩵🌟

💫 UNDER 8s

The U8s are going from strength to strength! They played some lovely football, showing great teamwork, determination and plenty of smiles along the way. ⚽😊

💎 UNDER 10 GEMS

The Gems put in a really positive performance against a strong side. With only seven players available, the girls worked incredibly hard and showed great determination throughout. With the team still building together, they are continuing to enjoy their football and there are plenty of positives to take forward. 👏🩵

✨ UNDER 10 DIAMONDS

A difficult day for the Diamonds on their long trip over to Rugby, but the girls showed great determination, kept going and played some lovely football. It just wasn’t their day, but they’ll push on and go again next week! 💪💎
