Discover tree trails in Leicester's Parks π³
Autumn is a great time to take a stroll and look at changes in nature, enjoying the autumn colours. Four of Leicesterβs parks have digital tree trails, Abbey Park, Castle Hill Country Park, Humberstone Park and Western Park, and there is one coming soon for Evington Park. Overview maps of the trails are hosted on the City Councilβs website, with links to Open Leicester, where there is detailed information about the trees on the trail, including species lists, images and an interactive map. Trees on the trail are marked with small round numbered metal tags. The trails are a great way to discover interesting facts about many of their magnificent trees.
