With the departure of coach Anthony Fenton, we are looking for a coach to join our management team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to lead training sessions on Thursday evenings and assist on match days. Experience in senior football preferred.

Unfortunately, our season has been cut short by 1 game. This weekends fixture has been cancelled, and we have been awarded the points. The league table has been updated, and we have finished 4 points behind League Champions Kirby Muxloe and 1 point behind runners up Thurmaston DPC. It brings to the end a successful season for the team. Unfortunately, we have fallen short of picking up any silverware. However, We definitely have built something that we can continue to build on going into next season. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the season, those who have sponsored us this season, and especially those who have volunteered for us this season. We will now enjoy a short break before we start to build for the 26/27 season.

No matter what the score is against Oakham this Sunday, it is now confirmed that Birstall United Women will finish 3rd in the league.

It’s been a massive season for Birstall Women. We have pushed the top two all the way throughout the campaign, which is reflected in how close the points tally is at the top of the table. With one game still to play, a win on Sunday would see us finish the season on 40 points.

The top three have been separated by very little all season, showing just how competitive the league has been. Congratulations to the league winners and runners-up on a fantastic season. 👏
