We were delighted to support the Priory Leek Charity Weekend in Leek, held in memory of former Priory landlord and Leek Town Mayor, Barry ‘Bazza’ Birch, by donating one of our Warrior wheelbarrows to the raffle.

What a weekend it was! From Bottomless Brunch, Country Disco and Karaoke on Friday, to a packed Saturday featuring fundraising stalls, tombola's, games, a Rodeo Bull, BBQ, Dog Show and live entertainment. Sunday rounded things off with a carvery, live entertainment, the raffle and the Memorial Darts Knockout for Bazza.

The raffle alone raised an incredible £1,000, with our wheelbarrow snapped up as one of the prizes. Congratulations to Liz Bishop, who was the lucky winner!

Over the weekend a fantastic £1,804 was raised in total! 🎉

The money raised will be donated to Bazza’s chosen charities – Ball Haye Green Community Football and Ashbourne Community Transport - helping to continue his legacy within the local community.

A huge well done to everyone at the Priory, all the organisers including Altrad Belle employee Will Grindey, volunteers, businesses who donated prizes, and everyone who came along and supported the weekend.

The fun continues today at Priory Leek with a darts knockout 🎯 and the main raffle with lots of fantastic prizes up for grabs.

We are super excited to be taking part in the Priory Leek charity weekend on Saturday. Come along 12 till 4.30 where there is lots going on 👍🏻👏🏻 or head over to there page to see what they have on offer all weekend both day and night.

The team have been working very hard putting the weekend together behind the scenes so let’s give them the support they deserve and help some local charities in the process.
